Attitude adjustment

I need one!

Or, more specifically, I need to adjust my attitude towards bonus points.

I've always had this smug little 'I don't eat my bonus points' thing going. You can almost see me puffing out my chest and waggling my head when I say it!

Well, it needs to change. I get so much exercise now, I'm starving if I stick to my normal points. And then I lose my willpower.

The thing is, I love going to the gym. And I still need to, and like to, walk the dog. So, on days when I do both (which is about 4 days a week), I'm earning 10-13 bonus points!

From now on, when I earn more than 8 bonus points a day, I'm going to eat the extras. Sensibly. Not treats.

Hi Sue - that sounds like a good idea and make sure you aren't eating too little cos that's not good for you either. I loved your sons comment about you becoming a MILF - boy I laughed. Have a great day.lb

You're allowed to eat 12 Bonus Points a week - if you're earning 50+ extra points a week, I'm sure 2 extra points a day won't make a huge difference on the scales! Go on, you deserve it! Especially if you're feeling hungry :-)

You just made me realise that I've got to STOP eating my bonus points. Keep up the great work and eat a little more too so you're keeping up with the exercise.

I think that's a great idea - good on you! Your body probably needs it!

I find I'm much the same, as my exercise goes up so too does my appetite. It's all a matter of allowing myself the extra points without going stupid> like you said, sensibly. :)

I didn't ever eat my bonus points either but when you go on maintenance you don't get to eat your exercise points so now I wish I had!

Love the new colours Sue. Very happy :)

I think it is important when you do so much exercise to make sure you eat some of your bonus points. Like Emily said, it doesn't matter how many you go over you can only eat an extra 12 a week anyway. And that may just give your body the fuel to keep going.

I have not yet eaten my bonus points, but then again - I don't really earn enough either :)

Hope you have a great day
