It's not the plan's fault!

I'm having a weekend of struggling with NoCount. Despite having meticulously planned my meals, I'm putting too much on my plate and sneaking extra food as well!

So, I considered switching back to counting points. But, actually, I was having the same issues with that.

So, don't try and say the plan isn't working!

I need to regain the focus and motivation that has served me so well in the past.

The plan is good and I know it can work - but only if I let it.

During some computer issues on Friday I had to reload my profile and so have lost all my internet favourites - most of which were blogs. I've got some of them back, but please leave me a quick comment so I can recover the rest.

I've been sneaking a lot of extra food lately, enough for about 10 of us. I really need to put a stop to it. First thing tomorrow!
Hope you had a great weekend.

My weekend hasn't been so great either food wise!

Look upon today as a fresh start and good luck for the week ahead:)

Look at how far you have come in a year! Phenomenal! :-)

It's really hard when you start to struggle with a programme - hope it comes right for you soon. I don't think there is an easy answer or a quick fix, it's just same old same old SLOG. :-)

Just an idea, have you tried using Bloglines? I find it really helps me keep up to date and manage your blog reading - www.bloglines.com

Youa re so right - it isn't the plan or the programme or the product which doesn't work - it is what we do with it that makes it not work !!!
Take care and have a great week.

I think that was the problem I had with No Count - portion sizes because there was no hard and fast rules for it. Since going back to the more structured POINTS I have been better behaved.
:o)

A little bobble, my dear. I have no doubt that you will recapture the discipline that's gotten you this far. Deep breath and get back on the horse.

Congratulations on your one year anniversary. It seems to be about that time for a lot of us at the moment and I am wondering if that has something to do with the 'extra' eating that is going on. Mostly at my house LOL.

And you are right. The plan does work. It is up to us to stick to the very basic rules that the plans teach us and we have no one to blame but ourselves. That being said, a little (and I mean little) slip up every now and again will not send us back from whence we came, as long as we grab hold of it and chuck it out. Which you have.

Hope you have another awesome week Sue :D

P.S. Congrats for kicking our butt in the CWG Rugby 7's

Well done for recognising that it's not the plan and that it is just something that effects all of us at one time or another. Too many people place the blame on the plan or circumstances. It all comes down to us. Well done for that. Another growing moment in your journey!! XX

I'm sure you've given yourself a stern talking to and are well back on track. You are too strong-willed and stubborn to let this get the better of you. But I hope you enjoyed your "lapse".

And I agree with your hubby, I just can't reconcile that 1st photo with your latest pic. Who was that woman!!!!
