Owwweee!

Oooo, it hurts. Somehow it doesn't matter how fit you think you are, there is always something that will prove you're not.

Last night I couldn't face running in the freezing cold again, so I decided to do my kickboxing DVD instead. For the first time in like 18 months.

And it burns. Thighs, butt and that bit at the top of my calves.

Of course adapting the routine to fit in a living room the size of a bread bin was interesting too!

Good on you for not giving in and doing no exercise when it was so cold outside. I went back to the gym - got a programme and start tomorrow if I'm well enough (had a virus for the last couple of days)so will be just like you with lots of achy bits. Zxx

I hope no lamps died in the process!b It is so hard to stay motivated in the cold weather so well done. All I can think of is sausage rolls. I am not a good role model at the moment.

You put me to shame - I thought my little stint on the exercise bike was good going. Must try harder!!!
