Those were the days!

I've just had coffee with a friend, and it got me thinking about how dieting worked when we were teenagers.

It was a simple, four-step process:

  1. I'm hungry
  2. Have a black coffee and a cigarette
  3. I'm not hungry anymore
  4. Repeat steps 1-3 as often as required

The pounds would just fall off (kilos weren't invented then). Hmmm, I wonder where all my bad eating habits came from...

LOL What a great post. See its the whole metric conversion that turned everyone fat. Suddenly you couldn't walk a mile, it had to be a kilometre so people stopped walking...

Have a great, metric, weekend ;)

Bwahaha, laughing at your post and M's comment ;-) We had kilos by my year but the cigarette and coffee thing sure is the same!
