Do a little dance

Do a little dance,
Make a little lurrrve,
Get down tonight!

So many things to celebrate today. And it's all about numbers. Where shall I start?

Let's start with a big round number. 40kg. That's how much I have lost as of this morning's weigh-in. Yep, you read it right. I HAVE LOST 40KG! That's 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, ... oh, sod typing all that, you get the picture - heaps and heaps.

How about another number? 30. That's my BMI now, which puts me just out of the obese range and just into the overweight range. My starting BMI was 43!

More numbers? How about 16. That's the size of my new shirts (down from 24/26) and the size of my new jeans (down from 24) - bought from a 'normal' size shop for the first time in 12 years.

Phew!

So, I'm going to use more number to set myself a new goal. My triathlon is in 12 weeks. By then, I want lose another 10kg.

Omg, I saw the photo next to your comment on my blog and seriously thought there was a new blogger around - you look so different! Still the same lovely smile though.

Well done with all your numbers. What an inspiration! Size 16 rocks.

I can't wait to hear more about the triathalon - that's something I could never do. Fun runs are fine but the riding and swimming - I'd just be too embarassed to do in public.

Someone mentioned your new photo in a comment to me, so had to sneak a look from work.

WOW.

You look amazing.

Those numbers are pretty impressive, and fantastic, and whooo hooooo for buying clothes in a 'normal' shop. You look incredible. And young. And not a magnum in sight LOL.

Go you with the donation of body weight. That is always impressive. My next one is the donation at 20kgs.

I love your progress goals and with the determination, spirit, and humour you put into your weight loss you will definitely get there.

I hope you have a brilliant day and congratulations again. This is a wonderful achievement.

And you will now definitely have to take part in some defenestration with your old clothes :D

Wow, wow and wow. I'm so glad you visited by blog so I could come and look here and get blown away. You have lost 40 kilo's in the time it's taken me to lose 20 - wow again. I was going to check out lots of blogs tonight but I got stuck on yours and I've had to have a speed read through. When I read that you were training for a triatholon I thought I would check out how you have come this far in such a short time. Do you remember writing in July - only 4 months ago - that you couldn't jog 150 metres. Thats an amazing turn around. Congratulations and thankyou for a very entertaining read.Did I say WOW!!!!!!!!

Golly gosh woman!! WELL DONE :-) 40kgs is such a huge achievement and puts my measly 19kgs to shame. You have got one of the best attitudes and it's easy to see why you are such a successful individual. Seriously, well done. You are fabulous and I bet you feel it too!!
