Plenty of cups of tea

There's lots of cups of tea being made at our place at the moment. Craig's Mum passed away yesterday. She had been ill for a long time, but this makes it no less sad.

I talked to my Jake yesterday. He was on the booze with his mates in Reading; first day off after working 45 days straight, so it wasn't a particularly coherent conversation. They've put off the Turkey trip until November - he's going to Oktoberfest instead.

Catch you all soon.

Sorry to hear about the loss of Craig's Mum, always a hard thing to go through. My condolences to him and you. You are no doubt right about my insomnia and lack of exercise, I actually thought of that one myself this morning... so am going to start stepping it up a bit.... things seem to be A OK 'down there' now thank god! I hope you have a reasonable day/weekend in the circumstances.

So sorry to hear Sue. Big hugs.

I recall similar phone calls with my overseas kids unter the influence. You don't need to be told he will love the Oktoberfest.

I'm sorry to hear your sad news. I bet Craig is hugely comforted by having you to help him through it. What is it about tea? I think it's the act of making it, rather than the drink itself, that is so soothing.

Sue that is such sad news about Craigs mum...

I agree with ckk that the act of making the tea is the thing that is soothing aye..

No matter what it is hard losing a parent. My dad died 7 years ago and I still miss him terribly...

Big hugs

Boys and their mums. Never changes no matter how old they are. A lot of memories to remember over a cup of tea. Will think of you both.

Speaking of boys, when's that one of yours planning on coming home - or is he too busy having fun.
