Oh by the way

I have officially retired from any events that include running.

I just don't like it.

In fact, it makes me miserable.

And that puts me off exercise generally.

So, why do it, when I usually love exercise?

I am with you Sue! I HATE it with a passion but eery fitness professional that I have ever crossed seems to see it as the pinnacle of fitness and tries to push it on me :(

I totally agree - you have to enjoy exercise or why bother!

LOL - I can't remember the last time I ran unless it was a mad dash to the phone.

Was feeling a little jealous when I read the title of your blog. Thought you were talking about work. But you werent and you are right - why do something you dont enjoy especially when it puts you off the things you do enjoy.
So - enjoy!

And running shall be replaced with.....

...rock climbing
...bungy jumping
...knitting ???

:) :)

Do what you enjoy and it will be easier to do..

Goodness knows I've tried to like running, and I just don't. It suits some people perfectly, but not me. I'm glad you're going to focus on things you like - life is too short!
