Such a sweet man

Another of those unexpected side effects...

Now, when my darling man goes away on business trips, he can bring me back a tee-shirt! I like tee-shirts from different places (so long as they say where they're from!).

He knew getting one that was too small made me feel like crap, so didn't take the risk at all. Let's face it, most places didn't even sell them in my size!

Now, he can just grab a 16. If it's a bit small, I can say 'Okay, I'll just shrink into it'.

Sometime next year he can start grabbing 14s.

Tonight I'm wearing my new tee shirt from Queenstown. Next week I should get one from New Plymouth.

He won't be able to bring me one from Fiji, though. There's no way he taking that business trip without me!

Fiji, wow I don't blame you for wanting in on that.

It's these little things that make it worthwhile, isnt it.

Fiji - of course you should go...you can bring us all back t-shirts. I can't wait to fit into to some of my fun run shirts.

Take Care,

Great post Sue - but what a pain that you'll be in Bay of Islands when I'm in Wellington! I'll look for the triathlon woman on the beach wearing a size 14 t-shirt when we're up there!

Hope you have a great day xx

Yay for smaller t-shirts - i'm sure with all this training you're doing you'll be in 12's before you know it!

Yesterday I picked up a t-shirt from the op shop marked down to $1.00. Perfect condition, nice style but it had a "Hyatt Coolum" logo on it. That's a very fancy resort in Qld that I could never afford to go to. Now I just have to keep a straight face when/if anyone asks me if I have been there!!! Hope one day that I can get one from Fiji too but only if I actually go there!

Hey thanks for the advice on my post - your right I think. Not a good ide to make rash decisions this time of year. By the way, excellent work running your first non stop 1k! just keep biulding up gradually and before you know it you will be running 5k no problems.

"Shrink into it" I like it!
